Life and life

I thought I answered what the purpose of life was. Thrice. I think I found the answer after that.

A Wednesday!

Yes. The title is taken from a very hard hitting movie which very aptly puts before us the reality of our lives. As much as that might be true my only motive behind picking it as the title was to contrast the actual impression of a wednesday in my life for now.

Lets start with the Wiki definition:
Wednesday (pronounced /ˈwɛnzdeɪ, ˈwɛnzdi/ ( listen); in Britain also old-fashioned /ˈwɛdənzdeɪ, ˈwɛdənzdi/)[1] is a day of the week in the Gregorian calendar. According to international standard ISO 8601, it is the third day of the week. This day is between Tuesday and Thursday.

According to me:
A Wednesday is when lack of sleep starts taking its toll and you are drowsy and morose.

A Wednesday is neither too near the next weekend to be able to pass it away nor is it too far from the previous one to have gotten over the fun and relaxation.

A Wednesday makes you realize how less you have accomplished in the past half week and how the left over work for the week is impossible to finish off in the remaining half. (In turn the whole of Wednesday is wasted away)

A Wednesday is when house supplies start seeming less to survive the week. (You still replenish over the weekend but start saving in case. That saving anyways ends up in the waste.)

A Wednesday is when the house is dirty enough for you to start thinking about cleaning it. (The weekend still seems far to postpone the cleaning)

A Wednesday is when you decide to move over the previous weeks pass ons to the next week. (Which you remember next Wednesday and hence never get done)

But  alas,
A Wednesday is when the sub of the day is Chicken Seekh and that for me is the best part of the day.

Dreams continued...

Bizarre things often make themselves prominent to people consciously or unconsciously. Referring to the earlier post on a quote, I was surprised at the fact that how a particular situation seemed to reoccur so often leaving me numbed at all instances.

The first one which I previously mentioned was in the final installment of the Harry Potter series as an after death experience. Or rather something between life and death. Although it left a lot to your own perception.

I could very well count the instance when Neo (The Matrix) lay unconscious and found himself at the train station as a similar incident but surely I had but then believed that something like this could only happen in the matrix. This can thus be counted as the first experience which apparently went unnoticed.

A third encounter with a similar situation came in the form of a hindi movie this time. Delhi 6 by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra. The lead protagonist, Abhishek Bachchan, happens to have a similar in between life and death experience and like the other two situations, comes out alive. Now I may even have ignored this instance if I had not gone over this again.

A book based on a real life story by a psychiatrist named Brian Weiss talks about patients who have such in between life and death experiences which they come out of alive. Apart from this the patients reveal information from their past lives to the doctor which is nothing but startling. Opens your mind to your own existence.

A recent occurrence was in a sitcom named Grey's Anatomy where again the lead protagonist, Meredith Grey, happens to end up in the nowhere of human perception. The state between life and death. This event surely set my mind racing on how different mediums end up having similar stories and incidents so well weaved into their persona and how odd it was for me to have made the connection.

A very weird phenomena I must say. But it makes me ponder. What happens after life ? What it means to be not dead but not alive either ? What does being in a coma mean ? Life sure has lots of questions for us to find answers to. Someday maybe we will...

Back to home.
Its a little quiet.

A Brief and Spicy Encounter

On the flight back from Delhi to Hyderabad, well not really on board yet. I and a friend were in queue to board the plane when the flight steward at the front gate asked us to board from the back gate as our seats were in the rear of the plane. As we proceeded towards the back gate there was no one in front of us. I climbed up the stairs and the two air-hostesses at the door were "busy" to even wish me and my friend a warm welcome.

To be a little more explicit (without being indecent and far from being a complete pervert), one of them wasn't even facing me as I entered. I could see the hands of the second hostess in ahem... places and tilting of heads beyond the normal neck pain relief exercise. As one of them saw me they broke off in a very uneasy manner and I had what I would term as the coldest welcome anyone could have while boarding a flight.

No service by them during flight while I was awake and no sign of them while de-boarding. It didn't end as well as it had started. But all I could say while narrating this was that imagination can sure take you places.

One man's fantasy, another man's reality.

He slipped off, oh! what the f**k,
